Check-in & check-out

  • Check-in: from 2:00 PM.
  • Check-out: by 10:00 AM.
  • Early check-in: subject to availability; additional charges may apply.
  • Late check-out: available on request; extra fees may apply.

Arriving outside reception hours? Let us know in advance and we’ll arrange your arrival.

Cancellation & refunds

  • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows are charged the first night’s stay.
  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
  • Special conditions may apply during peak seasons or for group bookings.

Payment

  • We accept cash, EFTPOS and major cards — Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
  • Full payment is required upon arrival.
  • A security deposit may be requested at check-in for incidentals.

Booking

  • Bookings are confirmed once payment is received.
  • Minimum-stay requirements may apply during peak periods.
  • Changes to dates, room type or guest numbers must be requested in advance.

Pets

  • Pets are not permitted at Aussie Rest Motel.
  • Registered assistance animals are welcome — please let us know in advance.

Smoking

  • Aussie Rest Motel is a 100% non-smoking property.
  • Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
  • A cleaning fee may apply for any breach.

Children

  • Children are warmly welcome.
  • Extra beds or cots are available on request and may incur an additional charge.

Accessibility

  • Accessible rooms and facilities are available.
  • Please tell us in advance if you require any special assistance and we’ll prepare for your arrival.

House rules

  • Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM, out of respect for other guests.
  • Maximum room occupancy applies to every room.
  • Outside visitors must be approved by reception.
  • Guests are responsible for their own safety and the security of their belongings.

Special requests

  • Request specific rooms, amenities or services in advance and we’ll do our best.
  • All requests are subject to availability; extra charges may apply.

Lost & found

  • Lost items are held for 30 days.
  • Contact reception to arrange collection or return.
  • Unclaimed items may be donated or disposed of after the storage period.

Liability

  • Aussie Rest Motel is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items.
  • Guests must follow all safety guidelines during their stay.

Privacy

  • We collect guest information only to manage bookings and provide our services.
  • Personal data is stored securely and is never shared without your consent, except where required by law.
  • We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
